Abdominal Ultrasounds

Advanced Abdominal Ultrasound for Dogs & Cats

We proudly offer in-office abdominal ultrasound services for both canines and felines, providing fast answers when your pet’s health matters most.
An abdominal ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive imaging tool that allows us to evaluate your pet’s internal organs in real time. Using sound waves (not radiation), we can closely examine the liver, kidneys, spleen, gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, bladder, adrenal glands, and surrounding structures. This advanced diagnostic tool helps us detect abnormalities that may not be visible on X-rays or bloodwork alone.

Why Your Pet May Need an Abdominal Ultrasound

Your veterinarian may recommend an ultrasound if your dog or cat is experiencing:

  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Changes in appetite
  • Abdominal pain or bloating
  • Elevated liver or kidney values
  • Suspected masses or tumors
  • Urinary concerns
  • Fluid in the abdomen

Same-Day Results, Flexible Scheduling

We understand how stressful it can be when a pet is unwell. That’s why we offer:

  • In-office abdominal ultrasounds
  • Same-day turnaround for results
  • Same-day or next-day scheduling (pending availability)
  • Our goal is to provide clarity quickly, allowing your primary veterinarian to move forward with a treatment plan without unnecessary delays.
  • Compassionate, Patient-Focused Care
  • Most pets tolerate abdominal ultrasound very well. The procedure is typically painless and often performed without sedation, though mild sedation may be recommended for anxious patients to ensure comfort and optimal image quality.
  • We are committed to delivering accurate diagnostics with efficiency, compassion, and clear communication — because your pet’s health and your peace of mind are our priority.
