Our Team

Dr. Cole Centers, DVM

Medical Director

Dr. Centers is a dedicated Veterinarian at our Emergency Hospital and Day practice, he grew up in Kingwood, TX. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2012. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Centers pursued his veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and completed his clinical year at Oklahoma State University.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Centers enjoys quality time with his wife, Jessica, who is also a veterinarian, and their daughter, Avery. His personal interests include working on his truck, hunting, playing golf, and cheering for the Houston Texans and the Astros.

Dr. Jessica Centers, DVM

General Practice

Dr. Jessica Centers grew up in Kingwood, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University for undergraduate studies where she received her BS in Animal Science in 2012. Dr. Centers graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in September of 2016 and completed her clinical year of veterinary school at Oklahoma State.

She and her husband, Cole, who is also a veterinarian, have three dogs, a cat, a fish, and four chickens. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going out for Mexican food, and watching Fighting Texas Aggie football.

Dr. Anna Costin, DVM

General Practice / Chiropractic / Acupuncture

My name is Dr. Anna Costin. I graduated from Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine but have a particular passion and interest in integrative medicine and pain management. I attended Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received my certification as a Mixed Animal Veterinary Acupuncturist in 2017. I received my certification in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy in 2018 from Healing Oasis Wellness Center. I was certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 2019. Then in 2020, I received my certification in Veterinary Massage and Rehabilitation Therapy. My goal is to help each patient live a healthy and happy life. I have the privilege of raising two beautiful children! In my free time, I enjoy horseback riding and traveling. Myself, and the staff at Animal Hospital of Conroe, look forward to making you part of our family!

Dr. Christopher Tiller, DVM

Emergency

Dr. Christopher Tiller is an emergency veterinarian. Based in College Station, Texas, he is a 2023 graduate of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Tiller’s path to veterinary medicine was anything but conventional. Baseball was his first passion — he played from a young age, through junior college, and at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University), and he went on to umpire professional baseball games across 11 seasons from 2000 to 2010. He later built a transportation company serving the oil and gas industry before enrolling at Texas A&M’s veterinary school at age 38.

After graduating in 2023, he went straight into emergency medicine. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal and New York Times. He is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and his professional experience includes Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care and the Animal Hospital and Emergency Clinic of Conroe.

 

Dr. Mara Bynum, DVM

Emergency

Dr. Mara Bynum is a 2019 graduate of the Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. She began her career in general practice including emergency care and has since transitioned to practicing exclusively emergency medicine, where her true passion lies. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging, trauma and pain management, and end-of-life care. Dr. Bynum has a deep love for all animals and places great importance on both patient and client care, striving to put pet owners at ease and help them feel confident and supported in the decisions they make for their pets.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Bynum and her husband are proud parents to a two-year-old daughter. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, playing piano, photography, watching movies, and music. She and her husband also love attending Broadway shows and symphonic concerts together.

Dr. Brooke Turley, DVM

Dr. Brooke Turley is a recent graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Texas A&M University. Originally from Montgomery, Texas, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2022 before pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. Her professional interests include internal medicine, emergency care, patient advocacy, and building trusting relationships with pet owners through every stage of their care.

When not at the hospital, Dr. Turley enjoys spending time with her partner, Samuel, and their three dogs. As a lifelong equestrian, she enjoys horseback riding with her equine companion, Anzani. In her free time, she can be found outdoors, whether hiking, gardening, or playing volleyball.
