Welcome to Our Emergency Clinic

We offer a comprehensive Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for animals experiencing serious medical situations that need constant monitoring and oxygen and medication therapy. The Snyder ICU machine we use is a controlled environment system to provide an airtight enclosure to control and electronically monitor the atmosphere and desired oxygen concentration for your pet.

Patient comfort and ease of pain are paramount throughout your pet’s stay and we provide pain medication for at-home care.

Emergency Care 24/7/365

A patient’s need for emergency care is based upon 5 classifications

Upon arrival to our clinic a technician/nurse will assess your pet and place them in one of the following categories:

  1. Resuscitation – Patient demands immediate attention where any delay in care would be detrimental
  2. Emergent – Patient ideally requires medical evaluation within 15 minutes.
  3. Urgent – Patient requires clinician evaluation within 30 minutes, but without immediate compromise to vital functions.
  4. Less urgent – Patient requires clinician evaluation in the ER, but a delay in care would not be a critical factor.
  5. Non urgent – Patient does not require immediate emergency care, but needs professional attention.
